Composer, Instrumentalist And Writer
Born in the Bronx, NY, I was one of the youngest boys in a large family where laughter, love and good food was abundant. My Dad taught me that everything in life is worth laughing at, including yourself, and my Mom told me “don’t copy, create.”
I am often asked how I got from enrolling at a culinary institute to earning a degree in composition from Berklee College of Music, a law degree from Case Western Reserve and practicing law in Dallas at a big firm handling FDA and environmental matters. The easy answer is those skills and that training provided the tools to craft the most important and rewarding work of my life; loving my wife and supporting and raising our family.
Above and through it all, it is that still soft voice that wakes me early every morning and, from time-to-time, spills a dash of divine inspiration into the coffee, cajoling me to refine whatever artistry and craft I can muster in pursuit of divine purpose.
